JVC Mobile Introduces Five New CD Receivers


Arsenal Series Caters to the iPod Enthusiast

January 2008, Cypress, Calif. — JVC Mobile Entertainment continues to respond to specialist demand for in-vehicle wireless convenience and expandability. As with all Arsenal Series receivers, the five new 2008 CD models carry a 2-year warranty, Steering Wheel Remote Control capability, and High Voltage 5V preouts to respond to the needs of the specialist dealer.

The KD-ABT22 in-dash CD Receiver features built-in Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free calling and audio streaming, and is updatable for pairing with new cell phones. A direct USB 2.0 connection for iPod audio is also included as well as a front auxiliary input. The unit is equipped for readiness with both HD and Satellite radio, and is MP3/WMA compatible. The KD-ABT22 also features a 5-Band Parametric iEQ, MOS-FET 50W x 4, variable color display, and includes a wireless remote control. The receiver is available in March with an MSRP of $319.95.

The Arsenal Series KD-APD89 CD Receiver features a direct USB 2.0 connection for iPod providing high speed song selection, charging, and digital audio transfer. The unit is also equipped for readiness with Bluetooth, HD Radio, Satellite Radio, and CD changer. The receiver is MP3/WMA compatible and has a front auxiliary input, loudness control, dual color illumination, variable color display, and wireless remote. The KD-APD89 also features MOS-FET 50W x 4 and a 3-band iEQ. The receiver is available in February with an MSRP of $229.95.

JVC will also continue its strong HD Radio presence with a new KD-AHD39 in-dash CD receiver; including a built-in HD Radio tuner with Multicast capability. This CD Receiver with SRS CS automotive is also Satellite ready, iPod ready, and MP3/WMA compatible. SRS CS Automotive enhances the listening experience by creating virtual surround sound, increasing the front audio stage, and increasing bass response. The KD-AHD39 features front auxiliary input, 7-band iEQ, MOS-FET 50W x 4, and includes wireless remote. The receiver is available in March with an MSRP of $199.95.

The KD-APD49 in-dash CD receiver features front auxiliary input and 2-way iPod control – enabling users to make iPod song selections from either the stereo or iPod itself using the included cable, all while keeping the iPod’s battery charged. Also included is a wireless remote and MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-APD49 also features MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and front and rear pre-outs with switchable rear sub out. The receiver is available for shipping in January and has a MSRP of $159.95.

Also new for 2008 is the KD-AR390, a Ready for Bluetooth CD receiver that includes convenience features such as a front auxiliary input, wireless remote, and MP3/WMA playback. Expandability options also include Satellite radio, HD radio, and iPod capability. The KD-AR390 also has MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, 3-band IEQ, and front and rear preouts with switchable rear sub preout. The receiver is now shipping with an MSRP of $129.95.
