Bazooka's MPA1000 adds Marine PA and Portable Audio integration system to product lineup.

January 3, 2007 - Southern Audio Services Inc. (SAS), manufacturer of the Bazooka® Mobile Audio line of tube subwoofers, speakers, and amplifiers, has introduced new Marine PA system compatible with any amplified audio system.

Originally developed for the Marine Wakeboard enthusiasts, the PA system is a combination of a preamp and microphone system that adds tons of features to any system with amplifiers, and can be used in Marine and Automotive environments.

The MPA1000 adds a microphone to the system, making communication with Wakeboarders, Skiers, and anyone in the vicinity of the boat easy-the MPA1000's microphone signal is injected into the audio system. On board volume controls for both the audio system's music and the microphone make system adjustments quick and easy. In addition, the MPA1000 adds an MP3 input, so adding portable audio devices is a snap. The MPA1000 will be available in March 2007, and is slated to retail at $99USD.

Designed with RCA inputs and outputs, integration is simple into nearly any automotive audio system. "We decided long ago that if we make it open architecture, with no proprietary plugs or anything, our customers and dealers will find new and innovative applications for our products," notes Derek Tircuit, National Sales Coordinator for Bazooka Mobile Audio.
