FLIR Systems' Popular Navigator II Infrared

A 24-hour Camera for 24-hour Waters

Portland, OR - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) presents the Navigator II, a rugged, compact thermal imaging system that lets you see outcroppings of land, other boats and people in the water clearly in total darkness.

The Navigator II makes nighttime navigation safer than ever before. Hazards to navigation like channel markers, shipping lane traffic, outcroppings of land, pilings, bridges, nearby
vessels, and floating debris are easy to see even in total darkness. And when someone falls overboard, there is no better search tool than a thermal imager.

The Navigator II is the only commercially produced thermal imager to feature Accu-Point. An exclusive position control and display feature, Accu-Point gives the operator continuous
feedback of where the imager is looking.

Housed in a rugged, waterproof enclosure, the Navigator II provides a wide-angle image for easy hazard detection. Boaters can watch this video on virtually any monitor or multi-function display that has a video input.

Navigator II is easy to use, its joystick control affords simple operation of the pan and tilt features. What's more, a second joystick can be added, allowing control of the Navigator II from two locations on the boat.

FLIR Systems, the world leader in thermal imaging cameras, uses their tested military technology in the Navigator II. "Thermal imaging is fast becoming an indispensable tool for maritime navigation and safety," said Lou Rota, Vice President of Maritime Business Development at FLIR Systems.
