Las Vegas Convention Center/North Hall, Booth 2401 - (January 7, 2008) - MTX Audio today showcased its new offerings in the Terminator line, including two redesigned mobile audio amplifiers and a subwoofer enclosure, at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Featuring ultra-sleek, black-on-black cabinet styling that creates and aggressive and powerful look, Terminator's three amplifiers and dual subwoofer enclosure deliver high-quality performance and great value for the money as well.

For the first time, Terminator amps benefit from fan cooled technology, which not only allows the units to play at louder volumes without overheating, but also assures better long-term performance. The fan has variable controlled speed so as the audio signal increases, the fan's RPM rises as well, providing greater cooling. When the audio signal drops, the fan RPM's decrease using less power to effectively keep the amplifier cool.

All three Terminator amps are mounted in identical, gloss-and-matte cases, making it easy for owners to create a symmetrical, balanced look. Four-channel, two-channel, and monoblock models are available to accommodate the power needs of any audio system. Specifications include:

The Terminator subwoofer enclosure features two 12-inch MTX Audio subwoofers. The dual high performance, SVC 4 Ohm drivers feature polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds, delivering exceptional, balanced bass at 400W RMS without distortion. Adding to the performance of the unit is the 5/8" MDF, carpeted enclosure with side-mounted port for maximum output.
