Improves Software Ease of Use and Performance

CHICAGO, February 4, 2008 - NAVIGON, a leading provider of navigation products and solutions, today announced the availability of a free downloadable software update for its North American suite of GPS navigators, the NAVIGON 7100, NAVIGON 5100 and NAVIGON 2100/2120 devices. The software update provides consumers with a series of improvements to enhance current product features and address consumer needs.

NAVIGON's software update release 1.1 delivers:

Easier point of interest (POI) Searches
  Revamped POI proximity searches provide improved ability to search for a POI near an entered address or destination
  Larger search radius for Nearby POI searches
Improved U-Turn Logic and Voice Guidance
  New U-Turn logic reduces the number of U-turn prompts given by the unit
  Updated turn prompts express the distance to the next maneuver in feet instead of miles, making it easier to understand

Text-to-Speech (TTS) Enhancements
  Speech guidance given for all streets regardless of distance from current position
  Better articulation of non-standard street names

User Interface Improvements
  Revised text strings for a variety of menus
  Enhanced stability when saving user settings
  Direct access POIs are updated when restoring factory default settings

Improved Bluetooth® Stability for the NAVIGON 7100

Better Handling of Time Zones in Canada for more accurate expected time of arrival (ETA) information
