Las Vegas, NV - January 7, 2008 - Audiovox Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX). New car dealers carrying the Advent mobile video line just increased their profit opportunities with the introduction of a newly expanded line of Advent products, sold exclusively at new car dealers.
NEW ULTRA-MOBILE PC SYSTEM
Audiovox says they have high expectations for their new Ultra-Mobile PC System. It gives new car dealers the opportunity to offer their customers a product they probably never had, one that can be easily used in the car, the house and the office, with all of the performance and features that come with a high-tech product like this. The Advent ADV3500PC 7" Windows XP Personal Computer with built-in portable navigation and "Wi-Fi"is powered by a 256 MB memory and supported by a 30 GB hard drive. The TV screen panel delivers a crystal-clear panel resolution of 800 x 480. Navigation includes full U.S./Canada mapping. Built-in Card Reader and two USB ports. MP3 and Video Playback Compatible. Comes with headphone jack, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Includes windshield mounting bracket, AC/DC adapters and full functioning remote control. It is one of the first products to truly provide all of the features of a PC in an Ultra Mobile device designed for business and personal needs and with GPS Navigation and Bluetooth functions added.
NEW MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS

Our new Advent- branded mobile multimedia systems go beyond conventional entertainment systems, featuring SMART routing navigation with 3.5 million POI, Bluetooth, iPod and AV inputs."
The receivers also support MP3 and WMA files and can project a picture-in-picture on a 6.5-inch touch screen when used with an optional back-up camera or second source. SMART Routing Navigation (an acronym for Smart Mapping Avoids Routine Traffic) has an Alternative Plotter & Flow capability, that offers the driver a number of ways to get to his destination, based on the time of day and various traffic patterns, resulting in an easier, more problem-free drive.
The two new models, AMM10N and AMM12N, have Multi-Zone which allows front passengers to listen to the radio while rear passengers listen to an MP3, WMA or DVD. There is also PIP for use with an optional back-up camera or second source; 7-Band EQ with spectrum analyzer; Dolby Digital and Pro-Logic II. Note: AMM10N has 240-watts Peak Power (60Watts x 4). AMM12N has 280-watts Peak Power (60Watts x 4) (40Watts x 1).
Both units include jLink Cable and iPod Interface Cable. (jLink controls all iPod functions from the radio. It is a high-speed direct-connect interface for playlists, artists, albums, songs, photos and video.) Navigation features offer a choice of eight languages - English, Mexican-Spanish, European-Spanish, French-Canadian, Chinese, German, Italian and Brazilian-Portuguese; 3D Graphics; Text-to-Speech Engine and TeleAtlas Map Data.
NEW MOBILE VIDEO SYSTEMS

For 2008, Audiovox will be marketing four new mobile video systems under the Advent brand. They are: The HR7008PKG Dual Touch-Screen Headrest System with two, 7-inch LCD color monitors and integrated DVD players. They come custom-installed with an OE fit and finish material, giving them a factory look. Users will appreciate the USB port and SD card slot that accommodate stored digital media, such as movies and photos. An iPod smart port plays iPod audio and video content via an optional interconnecting cable.
The younger rear-seat passengers can play up to 16 video games, either singly or against each other via a "2-in-1" infrared, wireless remote/game control that manages the DVD player and games from a single device, resulting in less rear seat clutter. A/V input, 15-channel, FM modulator, wireless remote control and two infrared wireless headphones are included.
The ADV48A is a 12-inch, crystal-clear color monitor with touch button panel controls, USB Port and SD Card Slot. The iPod Smart Port plays iPod audio and video content via an optional interconnecting cable and multiple AV1/AV2/AUX ports accommodate game players and additional optional monitors, The system also has an integrated 15-channel, FM modulator, wireless remote control, two infrared wireless headphones and a wired headphone jack (a must alternative for personal listening). A "Pause to talk" control pauses play from the front driver and passenger side to allow conversation and an automatic day/night screen adjustment maximizes viewing clarity.
The ADV30 overhead 10-inch monitors with integrated DVD player feature an A/V input, a 15-channel, FM modulator, and dome lights. Two infrared wireless headphones and a wireless remote control are included, as are exchangeable covers in Shale and Pewter.
The ADV26 overhead 8.5-inch monitors with integrated DVD player has the same features as the ADV30.
