COMBINING CUTTING-EDGE AUDIO FEATURES IN ONE WATERPROOF DESIGN: JENSEN MARINE INTRODUCES ALL-NEW MARINE STEREO.
ELKHART, IN - January 1, 2008 - ASA Electronics is proud to introduce a high tech, feature-heavy marine stereo unlike anything the industry has seen. Please welcome the all-new JENSEN® Marine MSR7007 Waterproof AM/FM/WB/CD/SIRIUS & iPod® Ready Stereo, now currently available to the marine industry. Built from the ground up, this unit has been specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the marine environment.
This 200 Watt stereo has a waterproof (IPX5) faceplate, full iPod® control, 40 seconds of Electronic CD Skip Protection, a rear RCA auxiliary input jack, and SIRIUS satellite radio capability. It has marinized construction featuring conformal coated circuit boards, a non-absorbing plastic PCB insulator, and a sealed chassis.
The MSR7007 features a 7-channel NOAA Weatherband tuner with "Weather Alert" that will broadcast a warning tone and automatically switch the stereo to the appropriate NOAA weather channel in the event of inclement weather. The MSR7007 can also display up to 5 lines of system text information when the selected FM station supports RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data System) service. In addition, the unit shows a 'Low Battery' alert on the display as well a 'Door Open' warning. All audio modes are displayed on a sunlight readable, full dot matrix LCD display.
The MSR7007 has a low voltage audible warning that alerts boaters when voltage is low and has zero memory current draw, which means it doesn't require a constant battery standby power feed. Station presets and stereo settings are written to a memory chip and maintained when power feed is disconnected.
Through comprehensive research and insightful development, JENSEN® Marine offers the industry waterproof and water resistant marine audio and video equipment specifically designed, built, and tested to withstand the challenges of the marine world.
