New Mounts Available for Satellite Radio Antennas
Innovative surface and pedestal mounts add versatility to SRA series antennas
For crystal clear reception, boaters and Rvers interested in Sirius Satellite radio programming onboard should consider the SRA-30 antenna. With new mounting options, the antenna from Shakespeare Electronic Products Group delivers optimum reception for a day en route.
With an extremely low profile, the SM-30 surface-mount kit provides a convenient way to install the SRA-30 on radar arches, hardtops and RV roofs. It is ideal for surfaces where it is difficult to reach underneath to attach nuts and bolts. For areas where direct access under the surface is difficult, the versatile SM-31 is ideal. The stylish adapter base with 1"-14 threads fits a Shakespeare 4720 Rail Mount or an extension mast. It also includes a flange base for installation on flat surfaces. Both kits allow the cable to be routed through the mounting surface or exit the side of the base.
The SRA-30 satellite radio antenna is specifically designed for marine applications. It brings Sirius Satellite Radio programming to the boat, providing 123 streams of digital entertainment. The sleek, low-profile design measures just 3.5 inches in. diameter by 1.35 in. high. The antenna comes with a flexible foil-type ground plane and a 15-ft low-loss cable.
A Sirius Satellite Radio receiver and subscription are required.
The suggested retail price of Shakespeare's SM-30 is $18.95 while the SM-31 has a price of $19.95.
