Extra Low-Loss Cable Provides Greater Range
Shakespeare Lo-Max® coax cable
The choice of cable used for a marine antenna can make the difference between a clear signal and no signal at all. Lo-Max extra low-loss coaxial cable from Shakespeare provides superior performance for maximum range.
Lo-Max was exclusively developed for Shakespeare's dual-band, cellular telephone antennas operating at frequencies where cable losses can be high. Its low line-loss characteristics approach RG-8-AU and RG-213 cables, but without the extra weight and rigidity. Lo-Max cable is an excellent choice for marine VHF, CB and other installations requiring 50-ohm cable.
Available in lengths of 30, 50, 100, and 1000 feet, Lo-Max cable is supplied in white color with both ends pre-stripped and prepared for standard PL-259 connectors. Adapters and connectors, including Shakespeare's new gold-plated line, are available separately.
Pricing for Shakespeare's newly-trademarked Lo-Max® extra low-loss cable starts at $31.95 for a roll of 30 feet. Founded in 1897, Shakespeare is the world leader and innovator in fiberglass reinforced composite antenna technologies for military, commercial, and consumer markets.
