Gentec launches new line of premium car audio speakers from Energy

Gentec International is pleased to announce the launch of a new line of car audio speakers from Energy, a global leader in innovative home theatre acoustics. Premium features once available only on Energy's home theatre speakers have now been adapted into a new automotive line. These high-end speakers reproduce the entire audio range, have a wide dispersion, minimize distortion and reproduce sound the way it was originally recorded.

Premium features found in Energy Pure Sound^TM speakers include patented, ribbed elliptical speaker surrounds; kevlar-reinforced, woven glass fibre cones; CNC-machined, cast-aluminum baskets; titanium dome tweeters; high power handling; and multi-mount systems for installation in various OEM applications.

The three models of the Coax Series have been designed to replace or upgrade factory speakers for improved audio performance, with most standard automobile sizes available.

The three models of the Convertible Series offer a coax (multi-driver) speaker upgrade system designed for maximum audio performance. Each includes an external 12 dB cross-over network and easily converts to a component (2-piece) speaker system for simple installation in vehicles with dual mount locations (separate tweeter and mid-range).

The two models in the Sub-Woofer Series reproduce extremely low frequencies in a wide range of speaker enclosures. The high-efficiency design (+90 dB) allows for smaller power amplifiers to produce superior bass performance.

Retail prices for the Coax Series start at $199.99. Convertible Series speakers start at $299.99. Sub-woofers are priced from $219.99. All are currently available exclusively at Future Shop.
