HEAD-TO-HEAD TESTS CONFIRM STINGER® POWER BATTERIES SUPERIOR TO COMPETITION
Results of competitor batteries fall far short of their stated specifications.
Clearwater, Fl., November, 2007 - Stinger®, AAMP of America's high performance car audio accessories division, announced today that its Power Series batteries recently dominated competitor batteries in head-to-head performance tests.
All of Stinger's Power Series batteries were tested. 30-second cranking-amp tests were conducted for each of these batteries, as well as 5-second burst tests for the SPV20, SPV44 and SPV70 batteries. The tests were performed at different amperages depending on the battery, and focused on the initial and reserve power of the Power Series compared with one or more competitor batteries.
In every case, the Power Series delivered more power on demand than the competitor batteries. They averaged 43% more power in the 5-second burst than three competitor model batteries, while the SPV70 delivered eight times the power of its closest equivalent battery. Results of the cranking-amp tests were even more favorable overall than the 5-second burst, showing the Power Series strongly outperforming all of its competitors.
The results are telling considering that the competitors' results fell far short of their stated specifications.
"We want our customers to know the truth about the batteries they're buying," said Nathan Wincek, Product Development Director for AAMP of America. "In this case, the tests confirm our Power Series as the best value-driven battery in its class-bar none."
The tests were conducted by JBI Corporation, a full-service independent battery testing company with over 80 years of combined experience testing lead-acid batteries. For more information, please see the complete testing results at www.stingerelectronics.com/thetruth.
