PERIPHERAL ELECTRONICS® NOW SHIPPING NEW OEM INTEGRATION SOLUTION FOR SELECT LATE-MODEL CHRYSLER VEHICLES

10/8/2007

The CHYAH07 Radio Replacement Interface seamlessly integrates aftermarket navigation and non-navigation radios into the 2007-and-up Dodge Nitro and Jeep Wrangler.

Clearwater, Florida, October 2007 - Peripheral Electronics®, AAMP of America's innovative OEM Integration division, announced today it is now shipping its new OEM Integration Solution for several late-model Chrysler vehicles. The CHYAH07 Radio Replacement Interface seamlessly integrates aftermarket navigation and non-navigation radios into the 2007-and-up Dodge Nitro and Jeep Wrangler.

The CHYAH07 is compatible with the RAK, RAQ, REC, and REF radio models. It retains the factory amplified system and plugs directly into the entertainment system using a vehicle-specific harness. This eliminates complicated and time-consuming wire runs while providing 12V Accessory and Navigation Illumination, Parking Break, and Reverse Signal outputs. The CHYAH07 also provides Vehicle Speed Sense (VSS).

In addition, the CHYAH07 works with Peripheral Electronics' PESWI steering wheel control interfaces for Aftermarket Alpine, Clarion, Eclipse, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and many other radios. These interfaces maintain the convenience of factory steering wheel controls when upgrading the factory radio with an aftermarket radio.

Used with the PESWI interfaces, the CHYAH07 OEM Integration Solution allows owners to add an aftermarket navigation or other radio without disrupting the integrity of their factory entertainment system.
