FULL LINE OF PERIPHERAL ELECTRONICS® XPRESS BYPASS KITS NOW SHIPPING

10/8/2007

Universal kits significantly reduce the number of stand-alone solutions dealers need to install aftermarket remote starters, keyless entry devices and anti-theft systems.

Clearwater, Fl., October 2007 - Peripheral Electronics®, AAMP of America's innovative OEM Integration division, announced today that its full line of universal transponder bypass kits are now shipping in time for the busy remote starter season. These Peripheral Xpresskits can be easily updated for multiple applications, significantly reducing the number of stand-alone solutions dealers need to install aftermarket remote starters, keyless entry devices and anti-theft systems.

There are twelve Xpresskits SKU's. The SKU's work with thousands of applications and over thirty vehicle makes-including Acura, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Lexus, Mercury, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen.

Dealers can search every kit and application using the Security Interface Wizard on the Peripheral Electronics website (www.peripheralelectronics.com). From here, the kits can be connected to the web using the Peripheral Electronics XKLOADER, and flashed with downloadable firmware available at www.peripheralvip.com.

This vehicle-specific firmware works with numerous vehicles, eliminating single-application SKU's that crowd inventory and can quickly become obsolete. Dealers simply order the kit they want and download the necessary firmware to accommodate their installs. The kits can also be continually reflashed, providing unlimited downloading and auto-detect to ensure the latest firmware and firmware updates.
