Becker, the UK's No. 1 German car infotainment brand, today announced the European launch of its latest addition to their portable satellite navigation range, The Becker Traffic Assist 7927.

The Becker Traffic Assist 7927, released officially at the world-renowned IFA Show in Berlin, is Becker's slimmest model yet, measuring 104 x 82 x19mm with a stylish brushed aluminium finish framing a 3.5" touch screen display. The lightweight device features 37 European maps, navigation in 22 languages, touch screen operation system.

Key features include lane guidance, allowing the user optimum navigation through multi-lane roads or motorways, by alerting the driver of the exact road layout and the correct lane to exit from. To enhance the function of reliable travel companion, the Becker Traffic Assist 7927 has a start-of-the-art MP3 player, slideshow picture viewer, MPEG video playback and 4cm high performance speakers to provide the best in in-car entertainment.

Optional TMC live traffic updates alerts the driver to trouble spots, as well as recommending alternative routes where necessary. The display has more than one million points of interest and displays routes in a choice of 2D and 3D.
