About two years ago we met a difficult task to try and beat the competition in the SPL lanes. We came up with the XXX-6500D, we thought "BIG", "NUCLEAR" and designed a piece to produce 6500 bone crushing watts. We even made it strap-able.what the heck were we thinking?? We obviously didn't think of the future. With the ever advancing polymers and designs of woofers which can handle more and more power and there are NUTS out there that want it. So what did our engineers do..they went and designed an amplifier that produces a "Mind Melting" 10,000 watts and as if one amp isn't enough you can still strap a pair of these bad boys for a measly 18,000+ watts. What is this world coming to??

Why you need it!!!

If you want to be the best in your class and you have a woofer that can handle the pressure the XXX-10KD is the only way to WIN. In competition vehicles today, where even welding, concrete, high density fiber boards, 3" thick plexi-glass and many more sophisticated building materials are being used to construct a super sturdy mobile structure to handle 170+ dB, POWER should not be sacrificed. So unless you want to be in the dust, use what the pros do.

The use of this amp requires extensive electrical system modifications. Please visit your nearest Soundstream dealer and/or seek guidance from a trained automotive electrical repair center. This amplifier can draw up to 900 amps of current which can be detrimental to most stock or only slightly upgraded electrical systems. Refrain from using capacitors as they will only make matters worse. This amplifier was designed for SPL competition purposes, special care must be taken in any case or situation you apply it to.
