Aquatic AV, Inc, announces its second generation of Multi- Environment Digital Media products and it's first self contained FM/MP3/iPod Digital Media Locker^TM. Aquatic AV's President, Dave Black commented "With the proliferation of digital portable media, traditional playback devices (AM/FM CD or DVD) products will likely evolve into hybrid docking devices". Black goes on to say "Plug and play, music on demand and transportability are the new design objectives for many of our multi-environment products". The AQ-DM-R1 fits that description. It's a waterproof plastic housing supporting playback capabilities for MP3 Devices (3.5MM), iPod (32pin) and incorporates a Dual Band FM Tuner, 50X4 digital amplifier and a RF LCD Remote Control that floats. From the remote the user can control all radio functions. The remote also will adjust volume for the MP3 and track for iPod's including the new iPhone. It also has Audio pre-outs, should additional support components (amplifiers) be desired.

This product was designed initially for Spa OEM manufactures due to its waterproofing characteristics and the fact that it's completely self contained. Recently, Aquatic AV has experienced a number of inquires from its OEM Boat builders considering the same product. Because the AQ-DM-R1 is very easy to install (front flush mount), the aftermarket also is a prime candidate. Its overall
package is universal enough for application in Boats, RV, Toy Haulers and ATV's.
