Hertz: Energy-Power, Power Instinct

The new EP, Energy-Power amplifiers are the perfect balance between original design, high performance and competitiveness: the result is a product with the highest quality/value ratio available in the entry-level segment of the car audio electronics market.

Inspired by its forbearer, the HP Hi-Power amplifier line, the EP design mirrors the project philosophy: care for the details, precision and functionality.
The extruded aluminium heatsink conveys a strong hi-tech connotation, thanks to its anthracite mineral finish. The heatsink end caps feature silver coloured terminal raccords, adding solidity and concealing the connection points, providing a clean installation.

The EP project is based on two fundamental aspects: performance and reliability. Each mechanical and electronic component has been studied and selected in order to achieve these targets.
Dual-layer metal FR-4 printed circuit boards, solid copper buss-bars for high current transfer and 105°C capacitors are only some of the Elettromedia R&D team's strategical choices.
EP amplifiers also boast advanced technological solutions: the ARTTM, (Automatic Remote Turn-On/Off) circuit, provides the ability to automatically turn on/off the amplifier, without the need for a remote signal from the source, and without the annoying "pops" and "thumps" associated with other systems; the EP LINK, allows the connection of two or more pairs of EP 1 D into a bridged (strapped) mode, to achieve an amazing 1700W (RMS) of power into a 2 ohm load from each pair.

The EP, Energy-Power amplifiers offer you the opportunity to enjoy a neat, powerful sound through an extremely advantageous product.
