Jeppesen Marine Launches C-Map MAX Spring 2007 Release To Marine Electronics Industry

New C-Map Electronic Charts Offer Greater Coverage, Improved Bahamas Charts, New Great Lakes, Inland River Charts and More.

CAPE COD, MA - Jeppesen Marine, formerly C-Map/USA, recently released its Spring '07 C-Map Electronic Chart Library to marine electronics dealers and marine retailers across North America.

The Spring '07 Release helps marine dealers offer their customers the latest and most advanced electronic charts on the water, packed with new charts, updated Value Added Data (VAD), enlarged coverage areas, and of course, the thousands of critical Notice-To-Mariner and other important updates that make C-Map the most current, accurate charts available for sailing, cruising or fishing ocean or inland waters. The three new '07 MegaWide titles that cover all of the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America have also been updated. Retailing at an affordable $249 USD, each of these cards provides the same level of chart detail as Wide cards, along with all of the features and benefits of MAX.

Now Even Better Bahamas Charts From Jeppesen Marine

C-Map Bahamas Explorer(r) Charts now offer even better detail with the addition of Wavey Lines(r) Charts for the Turks and Caicos. Together, these two sources provide the best accuracy and most detail for the Bahamas Islands (and the north shore of the Dominican Republic).

Great Inland Rivers Coverage

The Spring 07 Release also contains great news for boaters who like to "go the distance" on inland waters. One new C-Map MAX Card (NA-M023) covers the Gulf of Mexico, all the Great Lakes and Inland Rivers. This chart offers accurate new charts of key rivers and expanded coverage for customers who navigate North America's "Great Circle" route. New additions include the Monogahela River in Pennsylvania and the Tenn-Tom Waterway in Mississippi/Alabama, integral parts of the Great Circle Route. Detailed charts have also been added for important portions of the Green River in Kentucky and Kanawha River in West Virginia. All charts contain fixed NavAids, mile markers and the recommended track (center line) for each waterway, along with bridge photographs/diagrams showing vertical clearance and horizontal span for all bridges on these rivers. This new chart is also available for NT+ customers.
