One Affordable Electronic Map Provides Detailed Contour and Exclusive Fishing Information for 85 Top Canadian Lakes.
CAPE COD, MA - Jeppesen Marine today unveiled its first C-Map MAX Lakes electronic mapping card developed specifically for Canadian boaters, fishermen and outdoor sportsmen. As part of its Spring '07 Release, this new electronic map title (NA-M048.00) is now available through authorized C-Map MAX dealers across Canada.
MAX Lakes maps provide the highest level of lake detail, powerful new features and exclusive fishing data with one purpose - to help Canadian anglers catch more fish on their favorite lakes. One affordable chart card retails for just $129 and covers 85 of Canada's most popular fishing waters from coast to coast. These include prime locations like Great Bear and Great Slave Lakes in the Northwest Territories, Rainy Lake and Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Lake Okanagan and Kootenay Lake in British Columbia, Lake Winnipeg and Nutimik Lake in Manitoba and Lake Athabasca in Saskatchewan - to name just a few.
These electronic maps work with any MAX-compatible GPS/chart plotter from leading manufacturers like Northstar, Standard Horizon, Furuno, Simrad, SI-TEX, Cobra and Interphase. These exclusive charts provide up to 16-color shaded depth contours, soundings, NavAids, and other critical chart data for navigation and fishing. In addition, all Canadian MAX Lakes have C-Map Outdoor Recreation Area (ORA) points on them, allowing anglers to view color photos of gamefish in the lake or launch a search of the MAX Lakes database in newer MAX-compatible plotters.
