Scosche Introduces OEM Integration Interfaces For Ford Vehicles

Unique Interfaces Offer Ability to Integrate Aftermarket Accessories

OXNARD, Calif., (November 5, 2007) - Scosche Industries, an innovator of mobile electronic products and accessories for the aftermarket, announces its new OEM (original equipment manufacturer) integration interfaces. The next step in aftermarket installations, Scosche offers custom kit, factory fit dash kits, plug and play harness adapters, video interfacing systems and now Scosche makes it possible to integrate aftermarket accessories into vehicles using the GM LAN and CANBUS network systems.

Scosche was proud to bring its interfaces to the market last year and is pleased to expand its offering of OEM integration interfaces with the new Stereo Replacement Interfaces.

According to Kas Alves, vice president, sales and marketing, Scosche Industries, "our interfaces demonstrate Scosche's leadership in aftermarket and OEM vehicle research and development. We are committed to developing accessories that ease installations and increase profit for the aftermarket industry. Our interfaces are a useful and necessary accessory for anyone installing an aftermarket unit in many newer vehicles."

Scosche is expanding their OEM integration product line with the introduction of new Ford interfaces at SEMA this year. Scosche's interfaces provide a viable solution for an aftermarket upgrade for newer vehicles. These unique interfaces are researched and designed to replace the factory radio when upgrading to an aftermarket head-unit allowing greater control and consumer choices for an aftermarket installation.

Scosche's Stereo Replacement Interfaces will allow the factory radios in vehicles to be replaced by any aftermarket head-unit without losing any vehicle serviceability features. Typical to many newer vehicles, ACC power is lost when the factory head-unit is removed. Scosche's Stereo Replacement Interfaces eliminate these challenges faced by installers by communicating on the vehicle's BUS network for real-time control applications. These interfaces maintain the original integrity of important diagnostic and safety systems within the vehicle.

This year, Scosche is introducing its Stereo Replacement Interfaces for Ford Vehicles. Both the FD25SR and the FD26SRA are CAN Bus Interfaces for newer Ford vehicles. Both interfaces provide the following features:
• Data Driven ACC power turn on/off trigger lead w/RAP
• Illumination trigger output
• Reverse trigger output
• Parking brake trigger output
• VSS - Vehicle speed pulse output

The FD25SR, Ford Canbus module, is equipped with all the features needed to easily install an aftermarket navigation system. The FD25SR will retain the rear seat entertainment OEM feature. Current applications of the FD25SR includes:
• 2007 Lincoln Navigator with or without RSE
• 2007 Lincoln MKX with or without RSE
• 2007 Ford Explorer with or without RSE
• 2007 Ford Edge with or without RSE
• 2007 Ford Expedition with or without RSE

The FD26SRA, Ford Canbus module, is designed for vehicles equipped with factory THX sound systems. The FD26SRA will retain the factory rear seat entertainment feature and the factory THX Certified sound system including the full balance and fade control. Current applications of the FD26SRA includes:
• 2007 Lincoln Navigator with RSE and with THX amplifier
