MEMPHIS CAR AUDIO COMPETITORS AND SHOW CARS A HUGE HIT AT NOPI NATIONALS (Atlanta Motor Speedway/ Hampton GA)- Sept. 15th and 16th 2007

The results are in from the dB Drag USACi and IASCA World Finals competitions held at NOPI Nationals. Memphis Car Audio ruled the SPL lanes and took everyone's breath away in the show lanes.

dB DRAG
Brad Eubank of Dickson TN took 1st place in dB Drag Super Street 1-2 with his 1987 Subaru DL. He hit 160.6 dB.
Steve Cook of Florence AL placed 1st in dB Drag Super Street 5+ when his 1990 Chevy Astro Van hit 170.2 dB.

IASCA
In IASCA's IdBL World Finals competition Steve Cook and Brad Eubank came out on top again. Brad set a new World Record in Advanced 1 with 162.9 dB. He took 1st place with 163.5 dB in the Advanced 1 class. Steve placed 1st with a 172.2 dB in Advanced 3. Also Matthew Miller placed 2nd in Advanced 2 with a 164.8 dB in a 1997 Dodge Ram van.

USACi
Brad Eubank took yet another 1st place in Modified 4000+ with a score of 162.8 dB. Several competitors from Keeper's Audio in Americus GA racked up trophies in their categories including Glenn Engel who took 1st place in both the Street Beat 1 (open consumer) class and Super Port Wars (open) class and Chas Rucker who placed 1st in the 0-1000 Modified class. Congratulations to Kenny Coleman from Raymond MS who took a 1st place in the 3001-Up Stock class.

DOUBLE-TAKE
We were thrilled to show off two of the hottest cars around in the Memphis booth at NOPI. Jeff Gregory out of Corbin KY took Best of Show (Asian) with his awesome chop-top widebody 2005 Scion tC. He took another 1st place with his famed 1999 Grand-Am in the Elite American Sport Compact (Wild) category.
The other top-notch vehicle in the Memphis booth belonged to Jeff Carlton who hails from Wesley Chapel FL. He took home a 2nd place trophy for his black 2001 Honda S2000 convertible in the Honda/Acura Sport Coupe "Street" competition.

Memphis Car Audio would also like to congratulate Rocky Peek from Boaz AL for his 1st place victory in the Elite American Luxury (Wild) category and the many other vehicles loaded with Memphis equipment that attended this spectacular event.
