Black Eyed Peas Choose MTX, XTANT, Coustic And Streetwires To Add Bass To Hummer H2S

BLACK EYED PEAS CHOOSE MTX, XTANT, COUSTIC AND STREETWIRES TO ADD BASS TO HUMMER H2S
(PHOENIX, AZ, USA) - MTX Audio has an active history in the hip hop music scene. Thunder products are regulars in street vehicles, music videos, at concerts and other high-profile events accompanying popular artists like Will Smith, LL Cool J and Ashanti. The Thunder continues to sweep across the nation with of one of the most popular funk/ hip hop/ rock music groups, the Black Eyed Peas. MTX is proud to announce that Black Eyed Peas member, Taboo, has chosen MTX to be installed in his personal Hummer H2. Other band members, Fergie, Will.i.am and apl.de.ap have also chosen products from MTX sister companies Xtant Technologies and Coustic Car Audio to make their H2s as hot and unique as they are. These Hummer H2s will be seen all over the country with pictures slated to run in upcoming issues of various car audio enthusiast magazines. Look for the H2s to be included in the latest Black Eyed Peas video as well. When Taboo, Will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas decided they wanted to put the best mobile audio into their Hummer H2s, they went to one of the best installers in the business, Martin Aguilar at Mobile Works. "The band had seen some of the other installs that I've done and asked how to get in touch with me," Aguilar says. "Taboo's H2 has MTX in it, Fergie's has Xtant and Will's has Coustic. All of them are wired with StreetWires." The equipment list for all three H2s is quite extensive giving each vehicle its own flair. Taboo's H2 includes two 12" Thunder9500 Superwoofers, two Thunder801D amplifiers, two Thunder564 amplifiers, a Thunder501 amplifier and MTX Component speakers. This vehicle is already scheduled to be on the cover of DUB magazine and was presented in the Mobile Works and Ludikrs booth at the DUB show. Fergie's H2 is loaded with Xtant gear including four new X2 10" woofers, two X1001 amplifiers, an X604 amplifier and MTX component speakers. The entire install is bathed in suede including the inserts in the seats and the headliner and door panels. Will.i.am's H2 is black with an abundance of carbon fiber, which means it was begging for Coustic amps and subs. With its carbon fiber cone, four 12" Coustic C1204s are right at home inside this block rockin' vehicle. Coustic AMP800S and AMP800Q amplifiers go to each sub to make sure the system has more than enough power. In addition, Will's H2 is outfitted with a boatload of accessories like a computer with a 10" touch screen monitor installed in the dash so Will has full internet access. Next on the list is apl.de.ap's H2 which will be installed in the next month or so. The chosen mobile audio brand for that install will also either be MTX, Xtant or Coustic. "The Hummers sound awesome," Aguilar continues. "The band is very impressed with them. I expect we'll be seeing and hearing a lot from these H2s this year."
