Company's innovative LED-based system intended for consumers who want to customize interior lighting to match personality, occasion

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2008 - An innovative automotive lighting technology that enables consumers to
customize a vehicle's interior illumination to match their personality, mood or driving occasion was
introduced today by Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC) at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics
Show.

The LED-based Visteon Ambient Lighting solution will be available later this month as a dealer-installed option from at least one major global automaker. The system also will be offered in an aftermarket accessory kit that can easily be installed into a full range of passenger vehicle applications.

The Visteon solution is the first OEM-integrated technology that allows the consumer to personalize
interior lighting through tri-color LED lamps. The system features powerful, compact LED modules that illuminate the vehicle's front footwells with any of 20 pre-programmed color options. The consumer can instantly change the color scheme through an in-dash control module. The system can be expanded to illuminate rear footwells, cupholders and other interior areas.

Visteon's aftermarket Ambient Lighting Kit, which will be available in the second quarter of 2008,
includes two footwell LED light sticks, system control box and knob, power adapter (to be used with
cigarette lighter), mounting tape, and Velcro. The aftermarket lighting sticks are designed to be
mounted easily beneath the dashboard, and the adhesive-backed control box eliminates the need for drilling or cutting of dash surfaces.
