MB Quart's Newest Discus Speakers Include Subs

Chicago, IL. April 2, 2008. The MB Quart brand will release an extensive new line of entry car audio speakers as part of what is the largest new product launch in MB Quart's history. MB Quart's 2008 car audio speaker introductions top last year's massive new product introductions, which was the largest ever for the MB Quart brand. This huge 2008 production introduction is clear evidence of parent Maxxsonics USA's commitment to grow the MB Quart brand.
Highlighting the Discus Series improvements is the inclusion of MB Quart's technically superior WideSphereTM titanium inverted dome tweeter design. WideSphereTM tweeters are the result of sophisticated acoustical and computer aided research. MB Quart's new tweeter technology specifically addresses and dramatically enhances this tweeter's dispersion characteristics for all off-axis listening positions. Additional changes in the more efficient Discus lineup include an easy-to-install crossover that improves the Discus Series sound quality and power handling.
This year's Discus midrange/ midwoofer feature a low-resonant carbon fiber frame reinforcement that aids superior midbass reproduction. The new Discus basket is more environmentally stable and won't rust or become brittle. Plus the new line-up boasts improvements in efficiency due to a new precision voice-coil assembly that also improves the Discus series overall midrange and bass linearity. Four new polypropylene cone dual-voice coil subwoofers, complete the 2008 MB Quart Discus speaker line-up.
