Bang & Olufsen enthuses Audi dealers

Briefing more than 600 Audi dealers and sellers on the Audi A4, Audi Japan has held its first ever nationwide product training session. The session took place over four days in Tokyo and Osaka, and also included an introduction to the Bang & Olufsen brand and the Bang & Olufsen Sound System for the Audi A4.

The training session was a huge success, both for Audi and for Bang & Olufsen, relates Miyoko Okuno, Marketing Manager for Bang Olufsen Japan: "Much to our delight, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone was very interested in hearing more about the meticulous tuning of the Sound System and its seamless integration into the Audi A4," says Ms. Okuno.

The training session was kicked off with the story behind the brand new Audi A4, followed by a presentation of its sound system and a workshop centred on a range of Bang & Olufsen's high-end AV products. The following day, the landmark BeoLab 5 loudspeaker was presented as were some of the groundbreaking acoustic technologies which were first implemented in the BeoLab 5 loudspeaker, and subsequently adapted for and integrated into the award-winning car-fi systems from Bang & Olufsen.

Miyoko Okuno is in no doubt about the outcome of the training sessions. "From our end, we got a chance to experience how another world-leading brand handles the training of its dealers and sales staff. At the same time, I am sure that the Audi dealers and sellers got a thorough introduction to the world of Bang & Olufsen, and hopefully they will share some of their enthusiasm for the brand and the automotive sound systems with their customers," Ms. Okuno concludes.
