New ONIX 110 Offers Four Navigation Modes From Basic To Advanced Operation

Overland Park, KS. - The new ONIX 110 from Bushnell is one of the most versatile and easy-to-use hand-held GPS receivers available today. Four user-defined navigation modes are designed to meet the needs of anyone venturing off the beaten path - from the beginner on a casual day hike to the advanced user heading deep into the backcountry.

The simple mode includes the basic functions of saving locations and navigating between them. The advanced function makes it easy to build routes with multiple waypoints for more complex navigation. For Geocaching enthusiasts, there is a geocaching mode that lets users enter and find hidden caches. The Sport mode is great for runners and bikers who want to build training logs, track distances and save times.

The ONIX 110 includes a premium SiRF Star III GPS receiver that provides rapid Time to First Fix (TTFF) and superior sensitivity in difficult environments. There is 128 MB of user memory that will hold up to 1,000 waypoints and 50 routes. For even greater versatility, the ONIX 110 has a built-in base map of the United States and Canada.

The large 2.7" LCD screen allows for easy viewing of the base map and navigation menu. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides ample capacity for a long day in the field, and eliminates the need to continually purchase standard batteries.

The ONIX 110 is built for the outdoors with its rugged waterproof construction (IPX-6 standard) and rubber armoring for protection. It comes ready to use out of the box with a USB cable for connecting to a PC, a CD with the GPS PC Companion Software and a printed User's Manual. The ONIX 110 is available at Bushnell dealers nationwide. Suggested retail is $149.99.
