Peripheral Electronics Announces New Dates For Its National Dealer Training Program

6/18/2008

Special Regional Training Seminars Scheduled for this Summer Include Seattle, Portland, Charlotte and Atlanta

Clearwater, FL (June 16, 2008) - In a continuation of its wildly successful regional training program, Peripheral Electronics® - the award-winning OEM Integration products division of AAMP of AmericaTM - is hitting the road to educate and inform dealers about new Peripheral products, as well as installation and sales techniques that will help ensure that they stay successful and on the cutting edge of an ever-changing industry.

Eric LeClerc, Senior Research & Development Technician for Peripheral, will be teaching the one-day seminars and providing unique insight on the company's line of products and how they meet the needs of today's consumers. Topics to be covered will include new and upcoming releases; Peripheral integration devices for the iPodTM and other MP3 players, HD radio and aux-in accessories; steering wheel interface systems and simple methods for boosting sales of Peripheral OEM technologies. Regional dealer training sessions are currently scheduled for Seattle, Washington (June 23rd); Portland, Oregon (June 24th); Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia (dates to be announced).

According to LeClerc, "For the last several years we have been conducting an AAMP of America Training Camp at out corporate headquarters in Clearwater, as well as similar regional training classes. So far, we've had event attendance of more than 200 people and the dealer feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive. With these regional training classes, trained experts like myself will be able to go out and help the dealers who sell and work with our products every day to understand more about the Peripheral line and how that knowledge can help them be more successful."

"The growing trend in mobile audio is for seamless integration with today's portable audio and entertainment devices. People are want to be able to dock everything from their mp3 player to their GPS system in their car quickly and easily. That's why we've made a total commitment to providing our dealers with both the OEM technologies and know-how they need to meet the demands of the industry and their customers," said Ron Freeman, CEO of AAMP of America. "The success for many of our dealers depends upon how well they incorporate OEM integration systems into their business. So, to that end, education about the latest Peripheral products, how they work, and how and to whom to market them is absolutely essential."
