Kicker lends a hand to the Chevy Revolution Tour
The 2008 Chevrolet Revolution Tour had another successful year, and KICKER was stoked to lend its support!
In its fourth year, the Chevy Revolution Tour, managed by U.S. Snowboarding, continued to bridge the gap between grassroots-level competition and upper-level contests like the U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix, U.S. Open, and World Cups. This year's tour stops were Spirit Mountain (MN), Copper (CO), Park City (UT), Mt. Hood (OR), and Sno Mountain (PA).
KICKER athlete Brennen Swanson, the newest member of the U.S. Snowboarding Rookie Team, had great rides on Tour, winning the first of five halfpipe events.
The top three finishers in Superpipe, Snowboardcross, and Slopestyle at each stop earned exempt spots in the 2008-2009 U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix.
In 2008, online event registration sold out in 15 minutes! With the success from this year's tour sweeping the slopes, next year should be an even bigger riot, with additional stops in Boreal (CA) and Sugarloaf (ME). So keep an eye out for the Tour in 2009 and our KICKER snow athletes coming to an area near you!
