Metra's RX8 kits are designed to fit all 2004 - 2008 Mazda RX8s, and allow for installation of an aftermarket radio into the dash system, which is integrated with factory climate controls.

Metra's 95-7510 and 95-7510HG kits are for mounting DDIN sized units, and include a custom-designed bracket for added rear support. The 95-7510 is painted a flat black to match the finish of the surrounding dash components. The 95-7510HG is done in a high-gloss "piano" finish to match the original equipment.

The 99-7510 and 99-7510HG are designed for mounting single DIN units using Metra's patented, snap-in, quick release ISO mounting brackets, and custom trim plate. The recessed opening with the custom trim plate allows a flush, seamless look. Just like the finish on the 95-7510 parts, the 99-7510 is painted a flat black to match the finish of the surrounding dash components, and the 99-7510HG's high-gloss "piano" finish matches the original equipment.

All Mazda RX8 kits utilize the factory climate buttons to:
retain all existing features of the factory HVAC (climate system)
fully control ambient temperature display, On/Off, and Celsius or Fahrenheit reading
allow added user-configurable text to factory display
control functions of the engineered and supplied accurate crystal-controlled clock, both 12 and 24 hour modes
retain HVAC control indicators to dim with headlights; backlight dims with vehicle dimmer control
reveal HVAC status on upper display.

In addition, OEM style connecters are included for audio/ climate/ hazard/ and display connections, making it a simple plug-n-play installation. 

As with all Metra products, a step-by-step instruction manual with detailed illustrations makes life easier, and software is USB updateable for application additions and/or technology improvements.
