Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA) - Wireless boat security, tracking and monitoring systems supplier Paradox Marine has appointed five distributors for the company's product line in Brazil, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Turkey.
The new distributors are: Marine Express (Brazil); Crystal Electronics (New Zealand); SOFAB (Saudi Arabia); DH Marine Electrical (South Africa) and KALYON Guvenlik & Danismanlik (Turkey). Paradox Marine products include:
- Marine Magellan Wireless Security Monitoring System with two-way voice alerts users to high water, low battery voltage, loss of shore power, smoke & intrusion by calling them on their cell, sat or landline phone. It also controls AC and DC vessel functions remotely through cellular. Marine Magellan is the original system from Paradox Marine and can be integrated with Marine Watchmate & NAV-TRACKER.
- Marine Watchmate Remote Yacht Surveillance System. The plug-and-play system enables yacht owners and captains to monitor conditions on board from anywhere on a PC or mobile phone with Internet access. Users can watch live video of their yacht, be alerted if temperature rises above a pre-set level, if water is detected in bilge or living areas, and if motion is detected in a private area. Paradox Marine will be releasing an integration module which will allow users to control Marine Magellan through the Marine Watchmate website.
- NAV-TRACKER 2.0 GPS Tracking System keeps owners or captains informed of a boat's location through a GPS tracking service using the Inmarsat satellite network. The system sets a 500 Meter geo-fence (radius) around the vessel when armed. In the event of geo-fence breach or if any of the optional sensors go into alarm mode, the system will send up to 4 emails or text messages with latitude, longitude, speed, heading and distance to closest city. It will continue to send messages every 15 minutes until the vessel returns to the geo-fence area or the system is disarmed.
- The Boat NannyTM wireless remote boat alarm system for do-it-yourselfers. If an alarm is activated, the system sends a text message to a cell phone and/or email to the boat owner. It will also send a daily system status report as a text message or email.
