SEMA Launches Enthusiast Research Campaign
Dear Media,
Did you know, in 2007...
10% of enthusiasts owned a diesel-powered vehicle?
67% of enthusiasts' vehicles were purchased used?
79% of enthusiasts visit eBay at least once a month?
SEMA is contacting members of the industry to help launch the Automotive Lifestyles Survey, an annual poll of enthusiasts about their vehicles, modifications and lifestyles. This program continues to be the backbone of the industry's consumer-related data and provides a centralized database to gauge the health of the hobby. Considering the uncertainties and challenges facing the automotive industry it is essential to communicate effectively between people on OEM and consumers.
SEMA would like to extend an invitation to your publication to help promote this survey to the automotive enthusiasts. This project aims to combine all of our resources to reach a greater audience of enthusiasts.
SEMA's Automotive Lifestyles Survey is an opportunity for enthusiasts to influence the market by contributing their opinions. Through press releases, web banners, news articles, blog posts, e-mail blasts or other outreach measures of your discretion, your help could greatly impact the responses we receive. SEMA understands that your contacts are valuable and protected assets, and we assure you that your private information will remain confidential.
Your involvement is completely voluntary and anonymous. Additionally, there is no cost to participate, and results will be made available to you. SEMA is dedicated to providing the latest specialty-equipment news, trends and information about enthusiasts and their hobby.
The survey is hosted at the following link: http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB2282LHABFQF
