Company Introduces Innovative Product for the latest iPhone and iPod Models 10/20/2008

Oxnard, Calif., (October 20, 2008) - Scosche Industries (http://www.scosche.com/), an award-winning innovator of mobile electronics and iPod accessories, today introduced its newest product for the iPhone 3G and recently announced iPod models including the iPod nano 4th generation and  iPod touch 2nd generation  - the passPORT (#IFWA).

The passPORT features a female pass-through connector that attaches to any in-car iPod integration system to support charging for the iPhone 3G and newly introduced iPod models.  With the recent release of these products, many users find that their accessories will not support charging for their device.  Scosche's passPORT will allow the iPhone 3G and newly released iPod models to charge with existing iPod integration systems.

"The passPORT is more than just a simple resister or charging adapter," said Kas Alves, vice president, sales and marketing, Scosche Industries. "Scosche engineers spent over two months of R&D to develop a highly sophisticated product that maintains all functionality including audio, video and data of the iPhone 3G and new iPod models."

With over 28 years of advanced mobile electronics and aftermarket accessory experience and knowledge, Scosche worked closely with Apple to develop the passPORT to ensure its compatibility and function for both OEM and aftermarket automotive products.

With its superior knowledge in both the automotive aftermarket and home accessory categories, Scosche continues to develop and bring to market products for iPhone and iPod models.  Scosche is currently developing a similar product for home use that will also allow consumers to use their home accessories including speakers, alarms and docking stations with the iPhone 3G and new iPod models.

The passPORT (#IFWA) will be available at Apple retails stores, http://www.apple.com/ and car dealerships across North America, Europe and Asia. Visit http://www.scosche.com/ for more information about the passPORT and also Scosche's complete line of innovative products.
