Five New Lines of Aftermarket Accessories Hits Dealers Shelves 10/28/2008
Oxnard, Calif., (October 28, 2008) - Scosche Industries, a leader of mobile electronics aftermarket accessories, announced it has expanded its OEM integration family of products, providing consumers with five new lines of stereo replacement interfaces for select 2002 and newer vehicles. The new interfaces include the CR06SR and CR07SR (specific Chrysler models), the FDSR (Ford), the GM13SR (GM) and the VW07SR (Volkswagen).
"Scosche recognizes that consumers, more than ever, want options to improve the audio-listening capabilities in their automobiles," said Kas Alves, executive vice president of sales and marketing of Scosche Industries. "We are proud to be expanding our family of interfaces that maintain the special electronic features of vehicles while also allowing car owners to easily replace or upgrade their factory units without having to re-wire the entire system."
Scosche units feature +12V-switched ACC accessory RAP output to prevent the loss of ACC control, which occurs when a factory head unit is removed from newer models. In addition, the interfaces auto-detect the factory amplified systems and are able to turn on the system digitally via data.
Through innovative technology and research, Scosche's line of stereo replacement interfaces also self-adjusts accordingly to avoid distortion of factory speakers.
Recognizing the complex electronic integration of new car stereo systems with other factory functions, Scosche has created units to preserve operations of a variety of data-driven features. Each OEM product also includes a plug-and-play output harness for an easy upgrade to the steering wheel control interface.
The interfaces also offer balance control and fading for complete manual sound management. Each unit has 4-channel RCA leads so the installer can use the RCA output of the stereo and gain the highest quality sound rather than go through the speaker level output. The 3-wire hard-wired RCAs are color coordinated for left right-front and rear speaker colors and easy installation.
