Jeppesen announced the availability of NavData services for Aerosonic (formally OP Technologies) EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument Systems). "As a direct response to customers' requests for navigation data for Aerosonic EFIS systems, the new service is designed to offer the most current, accurate and reliable navigation data solutions available anywhere," said David Davis, business development executive, Jeppesen.

"Our name ensures that whether you fly for business or simply for fun, your Aerosonic Display System can be relied upon to be the primary navigation unit on your aircraft," said Doug Hillman, Aerosonic CEO. Aerosonic is the first general aviation manufacturer to convert from DAFIF or the Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File to the Jeppesen NavData solution.

Aerosonic NavData updates can be obtained easily, efficiently and reliably over the Internet using JSUM (Jeppesen Services Update Manager), a single software application providing data updates via the Internet every 28 days.
