‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, 8 October 2008 - Tele Atlas, a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location based solutions, has named Maarten van Gool its Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration. A new member of Tele Atlas' senior management team, van Gool is responsible for finance and administration, legal, planning and human resources worldwide. He is based in the Netherlands and reports directly to Tele Atlas CEO Bill Henry.

Joining Tele Atlas from measurement instruments and solutions leader Agilent Technologies, Inc., van Gool was most recently the Global Compliance Director for Agilent. He started his career with the company in California just before its public offering and held several finance positions before moving back to Europe in 2004.

"Maarten's extensive financial management background and his global experience make him the ideal person for the position," said Henry. "As Tele Atlas continues to grow worldwide, Maarten will play a key role in improving profitability."

van Gool holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Amsterdam Business School.
