Maxxsonics USA Launches OEM Integrators

Chicago, IL January, 2009 - Leave it to Maxxsonics® USA, Inc. to create a comprehensive line of OEM Converters and Controllers that have the most sought-after features at an affordable price.

When it's more power and better sound from an existing car audio system without the expense, desire or hassle of changing the current head unit, Maxxsonics has the answer. The new line up consists of three styles of High-to-Low Line-Level Converters that not only convert and filter high-level factory speaker wires into ultra-clean unbalanced (RCA) low-level signals, but also accept all types of high-level input signals. The premium MX-1 unit has these plus high-end features including parametric bass equalization, clipping indicators to help protect the subwoofer and amplifier and bass remote.

The MX-4, touted as the "Add-A-Sub" Converter provides an ideal way to add more bass without changing the entire radio system. "In this tight economy, we wanted the consumer to have a choice so they could get only the features they required and not over pay for ones they do not need," said John Studley, Vice President of Product Development.

Rounding out the line is the MX-3 Bass Controller that takes the designated radio subwoofer or full-range stereo output from the radio and processes the low frequency bass notes. In turn, this enhances the bass response, increases linearity, buffers unwanted transient noise and improves the frequency range for overall improved bass quality.

"We analyzed this market extensively and decided that it was time for us to offer an OEM line that has only the most functional and appropriate features," continued Studley. "There have been too many (OEM Integrators) in the market that lacked in performance or were so overpriced, they didn't make sense to the consumer." Studley continued, "We didn't overcomplicate the design which helped in making our units affordable and allowed us the ability to add the features that ensure amazing sound - something that is foremost in everything Maxxsonics makes."
