Chicago, IL January, 2009 - MB Quart®, well-known for excellent sound quality and the promise of above and beyond performance is introducing new Tweeter Kits from the Premium and Discus lines, which combine technical sophistication with exclusive WideSphere^TM technology.

MB Quart's innovative WideSphere technology fully addresses the inherent speaker problem of directional sound dispersion.  Using aerospace adhesives, the unique asymmetrically-shaped, pure titanium-based inverted dome is bonded to MB Quart's proprietary closed-cell tangent-edge tweeter surround. Together with a powerful neodymium ring magnet system, the result is extremely low resonance frequency and tremendous power handling with outstanding linearity. This quantum leap in transducer technology eliminates high frequency beaming so that a speaker can be positioned and mounted anywhere - making every seat, the best seat.

Both Premium (PTK-40) and Discus (DTK-30) kits include 12dB WideSphere in-line crossovers, selectable 0dB, -3dB and 6 dB control, two tweeter assemblies, two angle mounting cups and a generous amount of mounting brackets and components for confident and trouble-free installs.
