T-Mobile Signs European Visual Voicemail Patent License with Klausner Technologies

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--European telecommunications provider Deutsche Telekom has entered into a patent license agreement with Klausner Technologies, Inc. under the Klausner European Visual Voicemail patents.

The patent license is being announced to coincide with T-Mobile Deutschland, DT´s mobile operator in Germany, unveiling of its new visualized voicemail service at the CeBIT fair in Hannover this week. The agreement between the two companies entered into under Klausner Technologies' European Patent 1001588 covers DT´s visualized voicemail services in 17 European countries.

DT is the 20^th company to date to license the Klausner Visual Voicemail patents. Current licensees under the US, Asian, and European Visual Voicemail patents include major wireless service providers, handset manufacturers, and cable/VOIP operators. Visual Voicemail allows users to selectively listen to their voicemails via a displayed list on their cell phones.
