The Next Generation In Marine Entertainment The MSR2107 Stereo
| The Wave of the Future Will Soon be Hitting the Marine Electronics Market |
| LAS VEGAS - International CES, Booth 11006-10506 - January 7, 2009 - Audiovox Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX). Building upon the foundation of the breakthrough MSR2007 stereo, Jensen Marine, the company that knows what marine entertainment should be, is thrilled to announce the next generation in black-box technology with the MSR2107 Waterproof AM/FM/Sirius Satellite Ready and USB equipped stereo. As with all Jensen Marine products, the MSR2107 has been developed from the ground-up to meet the specific needs of the marine industry.
The MSR2107 boasts 200 Watts of power, sports a high-tech space-saving design and retains Jensen's industry-exclusive features such as Low Battery alert and Zero Memory Current Draw. It also includes a new feature with its 1GB of onboard memory and USB capability via the USB interface located on the tuner/amp. This allows music files (about 250 MP3/WMA files) to be downloaded from a USB device, such as a flash drive or computer, and played through the stereo. This allows users to listen to their favorite songs anytime they want. The separate black-box amplifier/tuner unit is water resistant and can be mounted in any convenient location up to nine feet away from the commander. It possesses a marinized construction featuring conformal-coated circuit boards for corrosion resistance and a non absorbing PCB Mylar insulator. The controller, which meets IPX6 waterproof standards, can be utilized in all exterior applications and is oblivious to all types of marine conditions - water, salt air, humidity, moisture, UV rays and heat. The MSR2107 is built with a 1 1/4" slimline profile that enables easy installation, even in areas with limited space. It sports an AM/FM stereo and features full iPod® controls and chagrining through the Jensen JIPCBDL12 interface cable. It is Sirius satellite radio ready, USB equipped and is developed without a CD player to minimize warranty exposure. The MSR2107 possesses large, user-friendly backlit buttons, a sunlight readable dot matrix LCD display and rubber keypad. This ground-breaking stereo also sports a non-volatile memory for presets and user setters, is marine wired remote control ready and features a low voltage audible warning that alerts boaters when voltage is low. The unit's Zero Memory Current Draw enables successful boat storage without running down the battery. Now is the time to check out the new styling and features of Jensen Marine entertainment. Through comprehensive research and insightful development, we offer waterproof, as well as water resistant, marine audio and video equipment specifically designed, built and tested to withstand the challenges encountered in the marine world.
