| LAS VEGAS - International CES, Booth 11006-10506 - January 7, 2009 - Audiovox Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX). Jensen Marine is proud to introduce a high tech, feature-heavy marine stereo unlike anything the industry has seen. Please welcome the all-new Jensen Marine MSR7007 AM/FM/WB/CD/iPod® Ready Stereo to the marine industry. Built from the ground up, this unit has been specifically designed to meet the unique needs of marine environments. This 200 Watt stereo has a waterproof (IPX6) faceplate, full iPod control, 40 seconds of Electronic CD Skip Protection, a rear RCA auxiliary input jack, and Sirius satellite radio capability. It has marinized construction featuring conformal coated circuit boards, a non-absorbing plastic PCB insulator, and a sealed chassis. The MSR7007 also features a full seven-channel NOAA Weatherband tuner with "Weather Alert" that will broadcast a warning tone and automatically switch the stereo to the appropriate NOAA weather channel in the event of inclement weather. In addition, the MSR7007 displays the system text when a particular FM station features RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data System) service. The unit also shows a 'Low Battery' alert on the LCD screen as well as a 'Door Open' warning. All audio modes are displayed on a sunlight readable, full dot matrix LCD display. The MSR7007 has a low voltage audible warning that alerts boaters when voltage is low and has zero memory current draw, which means it doesn't require a constant battery standby power feed. Station presets and stereo settings are written to a memory chip and maintained when power feed is disconnected. Through comprehensive research and insightful development, Jensen Marine offers the industry waterproof, as well as water resistant, marine audio and video equipment specifically designed, built and tested to withstand the challenges encountered in the marine world.
