The KM10 rocks from either a sealed or vented box (150 watts RMS power handling), while remaining extremely durable in any outdoor climate. The sub's sealed motor, cone, and locking terminal cover make it entirely splash- and spray-resistant. The water-tight terminal cover itself provides strain relief, insulation, corrosion prevention, and aids in ignition protection.

The state-of-the-art, injection-molded cone, Santoprene^TM surround, basket, and grille are UV-treated to combat the harsh marine environment. A water-resistant, bolt-thru grille offers further protection, and has a tough look and popular metallic color that matches well with all interiors. All hardware is made from corrosion-proof, 316L stainless-steel. The KM10 meets or exceeds industry standards for environmental humidity and corrosion* and for material degradation due to UV exposure.**

Additionally, the KM10 is engineered with the highest level of magnetic shielding available, minimizing compass and gauge deviation in the boat's dash and preventing navigational complications.
