LITTLETON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveWire Mobile, Inc. (LVWR.PK), a leading provider of mobile managed personalization services, today announced that its music service has gone live on Telecom New Zealand's new 3G network, XT. In addition, LiveWire Mobile has signed a two year contract extension to manage both the 3G and CDMA music stores.

Under the new agreement, LiveWire Mobile will support the Telecom Music Store on the XT network for the majority of Telecom's devices via a WAP-based solution. LiveWire Mobile will also provide a migration path for subscribers to move existing content onto the new service making it easier to build upon and manage their existing libraries through a new intuitive interface. The music store also allows a new bundled purchase option to enhance subscribers' discovery and purchase experience on the 3.2 million track catalogue available on the XT network -- the largest of its kind in New Zealand.

Telecom is delighted with the amount of choice offered on their new music store, which among global favorites, also features various New Zealand artists. LiveWire Mobile originally launched the CDMA Telecom Music Store in December of 2005. The store has been supported across a wide range of EVDO devices and has over 2 million tracks in the catalog from major as well as independent labels.
