WELCOME PROMOTION - FREE TERMINAL
WITH NEW THREE YEAR ACTIVIATION PLAN!
Fort Lauderdale: July 24th 2009: Global Satellite USA is pleased to announce the launch of Inmarsat Fleetbroadband 150 using airtime from Vizada, the independent satellite communications provider, offering a host of airtime options to provide voice, IP data and SMS and Fax at speeds of up to 150 kbps. With this new affordable terminal, customers can easily access email, the Internet and run operational systems remotely onboard their small fishing vessel or leisure craft.
President of Global Satellite USA, Martin Fierstone commented, "Early response has been very positive to this service. Many of our marine customers who perhaps might have made-do with Wi-Fi when they get into port are now taking advantage of being connected to the Internet all the time, at very affordable rates".
As a special introductory promotion, Global Satellite USA will be offering for all new Inmarsat Fleetbroadband activations on Vizada Standard pricing plan up to $2,400 in free airtime. Free airtime is allocated monthly over a period of 2 years. However, for a three-year minimum service contract, new entry plan package activations can take advantage of a free terminal. This offer is available until end of September 2009.
Other Vizada SolutionsTM compatible with Inmarsat Fleetbroadband 150, enable customers to use prepaid calling cards with the terminal, keep up to date with weather reports, use the internet, and send low-cost, compressed emails.
Vizada's Universal Card provides crew a fixed amount of credit for private voice calls, email and internet browsing.
Vizada's SkyFile Weather software package enables users to receive accurate and personalized weather forecasts including high-resolution satellite images.
Vizada's SkyFile Mail reduces the costs of emails, SMS and fax by compressing data sent over the Inmarsat Fleetbroadband150 terminal by up to 90%.
To track and manage Inmarsat Fleetbroadband150 traffic consumption, Vizada has developed a free web-based management system - The Source®. Customers can also set limits and alerts in The Source to ensure that broadband communications costs are tightly controlled.
