Mio Launches New M-Series Navigation Devices Focusing on Performance and Value


 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE9/18/2009)- Mio, a leading maker of PNDs (Portable Navigation Devices), announced they are introducing two new M-series models for the U.S. market.  The new Mio Moov M300 and M400 models were created to provide consumers with all the essential navigation functions, an easy-to-use interface, unexpected features and designed to fit any budget.

Justine Liu, Mio's Global Marcom Director said: "These two new models were created to give every driver the opportunity to own a feature-rich GPS device and experience the added confidence and safety provided by portable navigation."

The Moov M400 features a 4.3" widescreen display.  The Moov M300 comes with a 3.5" display.  Both models are sleek and stylish and feature a rubberized, non-skid bezel for easy handling and an anti-glare, touchscreen display.  The units also come preloaded with maps of all 50 US States and Puerto Rico.

The Moov M-Series models are equipped with a host of impressive and unexpected features to ensure stress free driving on any budget. Both models feature Text-to-Speech (spoken street names) allowing the driver to focus more on the road and less on the screen, Lane Guidance which prepares drivers to be in the proper lane for turns, Predictive Keyword Search makes finding locations a breeze and NavPixTM Photo Navigation which allows navigation to destinations from downloaded geo-tagged photos.

The M300 and M400 come preloaded with 4 million POIs making it easy to find restaurants, gas stations, emergency assistance, hotels, local sights and a whole lot more wherever you go. And, the included PC companion software, MioMore Desktop, lets you manage software updates and custom POIs, report trip mileage, transfer pictures to your M-Series device and more. 

 

Price and Availability

The MSRP for the Mio Moov M300 and M400 are $119.99 and $149.99 respectively.  Both models will be available in September 2009.
