KICKER Support and Training Shifts into Overdrive for Dealers

STILLWATER, USA - There is no hiding the state of the economy, and it seems that most companies in the industry have taken a hit in some form or another. During stressful economic times, KICKER feels it's even more important for an organization to stress and practice knowledge of the product on all levels.
Communication and collaboration with its 12-volt dealers have been a key to KICKER's success for more than 20 years, making the company's training and support procedures tops in the industry. "We definitely understand the importance of direct face-to-face contact between the factory personnel and the people selling and installing our products," said Dan Jobin, KICKER's Director of Global Training.
The combined experience for the five members of the KICKER Training Department is 93 years. Already in 2009, KICKER product specialists will have trained more than 2,000 people and deliver 200 domestic and international trainings by year's end. The team spent March through August entirely on the road.
"We are enthusiasts of our product, and understand that a properly executed training is a sell-through mechanism that goes beyond the initial point-of-purchase," KICKER product specialist Ernie Ficklin said. "We want to make sure the dealer is using the correct combination of gear to satisfy the end user."
All trainings are interactive, tailored to the audience, and include hands-on demonstrations so that dealers truly understand the product. Thoroughly educating the teachers out in the field usually means better sales numbers for all in the end.
KICKER's team of phone technical support, or phone techs, and helpful Customer Service personnel have long been considered industry leaders in their specific fields as well. Together with the Training Department and KNET web portal, the group makes for a tremendous asset in providing information and solving problems for sales representatives, authorized dealers and installers, or consumers.
KICKER performance audio systems, a division of Stillwater Designs and Audio, Inc.®, are available for the mobile and home audio aftermarket at authorized dealers worldwide, and also through selected Original Equipment Manufacturers.
