Improved Crossover Design enhances mid-range response

January 2010, Cypress, Calif. -- JVC Mobile Entertainment's V6 speaker line includes five new models, featuring twin roll rubber edges for vertically symmetrical movements, increased total amplitude, increased sound pressure and less distortion. The 2010 2-way speakers also feature improved crossover design between woofer and tweeter response. The improved crossover design cuts excess ultra high-range and enhances mid-range signals. The custom fit size CS-V6835 6"x8"/5"x7" and CS-V4625 4"x6" Coaxial speakers from 2009 are also returning to the 2010 lineup.

JVC Mobile's CS-V6946 is a 6" x 9" 4-way speaker with a frequency response of 28Hz to 25,000Hz and 330W peak / 60W RMS power handling. The speaker is composed of aramid fiber and carbon fiber composite olefin cone woofer, poly-ether imide dome super tweeter, and contains a heat-resistant voice coil. The CS-V6946 speaker will carry an MSRP of $79.95. 

JVC Mobile's CS-V6936 is a 6" x 9" 3-way coaxial speaker with a frequency response of 28Hz to 25,000Hz and 290W peak / 40W RMS power handling. The speaker is composed of aramid fiber and carbon fiber composite olefin cone woofer, poly-ether imide dome tweeter, and contains a heat-resistant voice coil. The CS-V6936 speaker will carry an MSRP of $69.95. 

JVC Mobile's CS-V626 is a 6-1/2" 2-way coaxial speaker with a frequency response of 35Hz to 25,000Hz and 210W peak / 30W RMS power handling. The speaker is composed of aramid fiber and carbon fiber composite olefin cone woofer, poly-ether imide dome tweeter, and contains a heat-resistant voice coil. The CS-V626 speaker will carry an MSRP of $49.95. 

JVC Mobile's CS-V526 is a 5-1/4" 2-way coaxial speaker with a frequency response of 40Hz to 24,000Hz and 190W peak / 27W RMS power handling. The speaker is composed of aramid fiber and carbon fiber composite olefin cone woofer, poly-ether imide dome super tweeter, and contains a heat-resistant voice coil. The CS-V526 speaker will carry an MSRP of $39.95. 

JVC Mobile's CS-V426 is a 4" 2-way coaxial speaker with a frequency response of 45Hz to 24,000Hz and 160W peak / 20W RMS power handling. The speaker is composed of aramid fiber and carbon fiber composite olefin cone woofer, poly-ether imide dome super tweeter, and contains a heat-resistant voice coil. The CS-V426 speaker will carry an MSRP of $29.95.
