London Evening Standard to Launch New Mobile Application in Partnership with Handmark

BARCELONA, Spain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GSMA Mobile World Congress -- Advancing its position as the industry leader in mobile publishing, Handmark® today announced a partnership to launch a new mobile application across all major smartphone platforms with the London Evening Standard, one of the most widely read newspapers in London and the southeast of England.

The London Evening Standard mobile application, planned to launch later this month, will deliver the most desired content from the newspaper in a simple, easy-to-navigate format. Unlike other enhanced mobile websites, content within the London Evening Standard mobile application will be refreshed automatically and available for offline reading.

The application will integrate social networking capabilities to share articles via Facebook, Twitter, and del.icio.us. A customizable "My Feeds" tab will also enables users to access their own preferred news and feature stories.
