COPPELL, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S.¹, expands their operations in the U.S. with the opening of their state-of-the-art packaging and distribution facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The new facility, located in Coppell, is Samsung Mobile's largest U.S. cell phone distribution center in the U.S.

With the opening of the new facility Samsung Mobile anticipates to increase packaging efficiency by 50 percent and create jobs in the North Texas area. The Samsung DFW Packaging Center will be home to more than 500 employees. In honor of facility employees and their new home, Mayor Jayne Peters is honoring Samsung by officially declaring March 29^th Samsung Mobile Day in Coppell.
