Wednesday, January 05, 2011 -- Dual Electronics Corp. has announced that Ed Sachs, a 30-year mobile electronics industry veteran, has joined the company as President, Dual Sales Division. Sachs will lead the team responsible for sales of all Dual products in North America.

“As we face the many challenges in today's rapidly changing marketplace, Dual will continue to take the steps necessary for us to grow,” said Jim Braun, President and CEO of Dual Electronics. “Dual and our parent company Namsung are pleased to welcome Ed to the Dual team. His experience and proven leadership skills make him an ideal addition to the team, and he will play an integral role as we continue to grow Dual.”

According to Dual, Sachs spent most of his extensive career with Pioneer, where he retired as President of Pioneer Mobile Electronics Entertainment USA in 2009.

“Over the past year I began consulting for a number of companies, and after working on several projects for Dual, I was both excited and honored that they asked me to lead their sales division,” said Sachs. “I am not looking to put my stamp on anything at Dual but rather use my experience to offer guidance to an already sound and active sales force.
