Thursday, January 06, 2011 -- Pioneer kicked off the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show by recognizing three of its outstanding mobile electronics distributors of 2010, the company said. At its annual distributor dinner held on Wednesday, Jan. 5, Pioneer awarded the finalists of the three zones and honored one as Distributor of the Year. Below are the results:

Zone 10 (Western Region)
AM Merchandising (Tom Miller and Mark McPherson)

Zone 30 (Central Region)
Petra Industries (Tate Morgan and Steve Lukowski)

Zone 50 (Eastern Region)
Specialty Marketing (Harvey Diehr and Lance Diehr)

Specialty Marketing was crowned The Distributor of the Year by Pioneer.

“Our distributors are part of our Pioneer family and we’re grateful for their hard work. It’s only appropriate that that we recognize them for helping Pioneer achieve our success in 2010,” said Larry Rougas, vice president of marketing and product planning for the car electronics department of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.
